Mohammed Imran is an ardent technologist with nearly 20 years spent working in Management Consultancy, FinTech, Blockchain, and Social Enterprise for some of the world’s most prestigious companies.
He is an award winning social activist, who loves to think about solving systemic challenges through an innovative use of disruptive technologies. He has a grounding in the Islamic Sciences having studied for an MA in Arabic and Persian at the University of Oxford, and further developed these studies at the Insitut Francais d’etudes Arabes De Damas

Mohammad Umar is the CTO of Funoon, who is leading our team of full-stack developers, and blockchain specialists in creating a world class faith-inspired NFT platform. After spending nearly a decade working in technology and product development for multi-national brands and startups, Umar excels at leading teams that can create truly intuitive and effective UX/UI, web3.0 application-stack, microservices, backend and smart contract development.
Umar has delivered a number of highly successful projects in the domain of blockchain, cloud computing and cloud security. As CTO of Funoon, Umar is looking to bring high-performance technical leadership to the board, with a focus on the NFT marketplace and setting strong foundations for the company.
